Juniors Spring Programs

[Juniors Programs] UTC offers many spring group lesson programs for juniors in two age categories: 5-8 year olds and 9-16 year olds, including Beginner, Intermediate 1 and Intermediate 2/Advanced levels. Spring programs are 1 hour per week and start early May for 6 weeks. Sign up takes place from Registration day to Program start date with a limit of 12 players per session, and a 1:6 ratio of instructor to player. Specific details regarding times and dates are outlined in the March Newsletter and may vary from year to year.

Juniors Summer Camps

Summer camp weeks are offered and arranged directly by our tennis pros. Typically the camps run during the mid day or afternoons for 2-3 hours/day and one hour/day for the younger players. See Juniors Camps page or contact the pros directly for more details.

Juniors Ladder

A ladder provides the opportunity to participate in singles games and challenge a player. Arrange a game and go out and play. See clubhouse bulletin board or Ladder Rules for details. Play a minimum of 2 games a month. There are prizes for most participation and most enthusiastic players! Sign up by sending an e-mail to the Juniors Director at juniors@unionvilletennisclub.com or by signing up on the bulletin board in the clubhouse. Indicate your name, level, age, telephone number and e-mail address. A revised ladder with contact phone numbers will be e-mailed to participants regularly.

Parents: Please help by encouraging your children to arrange games.

Juniors Party/Round Robins

[Children making friends] A juniors round robin and/or party typically takes place sometime in July, although there may be additional activities planned for juniors that will vary year to year. Check the clubhouse bulletin board for details and sign ups. There will be activities for all age groups. Get involved by contacting juniors@unionvilletennisclub.com. Juniors and parent volunteers are welcome.
